Randy Borror began his political career in 1982 on the re-election campaign of U.S. Senator Richard G. Lugar (R-Indiana). Following the campaign, he joined the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) as a fundraiser, working under Senator Lugar and Executive Director Mitch Daniels—a professional relationship that would span decades.

In 1985, Borror became Director of Political Affairs for the National Association of Home Builders, overseeing BUILD-PAC. After several years in Washington, D.C., he returned to Indiana and entered the banking and insurance industry.

By 1994, Borror transitioned to the commercial construction sector, eventually becoming President of a regional site development firm. In 2001, he was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives, where he served until 2010.

During his legislative tenure, Borror carried major initiatives for Governor Mitch Daniels, including the creation of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) in 2005 and “Major Moves” in 2006; a ten-year, $4 billion transportation infrastructure plan.

While in office, Borror chaired the House Small Business & Economic Development Committee, and served on the House Ways & Means Committee and the State Budget Committee.

After leaving the General Assembly, Borror spent five years as Senior Vice President at a leading Indianapolis lobbying firm. In 2015, he founded Borror Public Affairs, which quickly grew into a respected government affairs firm under his leadership and deep legislative expertise.

In 2016, Borror was honored with the Sagamore of the Wabash, Indiana’s highest civilian award, by then-Governor Mike Pence.

Randy and his wife Kelly reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
